I’m a native Seattleite who gets a creative boost from our moody weather. My interests are fairly exclusive: marketing communications, writing personal essays, and my far-out family. The story of my life includes a lot of improvisation (all mom) and obsession with details (all dad).
I consider good marketing communications an art form that blends creativity and logic, and I like honing my skills. I focus on two aspects: bringing the best of you into the spotlight, and composing your story in a way that conjures delight and motivation in a single stroke. Great communications should feel like magic.
Prior to joining ZUM I created and managed integrated marketing campaigns at the University of Washington and as an independent consultant. I take pride in making sure your message is crystal clear and hits the mark with your audience. Consistency is key, and one of my strengths is keeping your story straight on all fronts: on the web, in print and beyond.
I earned BAs in Comparative Literature and French from the University of Washington, uniquely positioning me to sink or swim in the professional world based on my ability to develop expertise on the job. Marketing communications is extremely satisfying work to me, and I feel fortunate to work among masters of the craft at ZUM.
