Kathy’s 100

OVERVIEW

Chidamoyo Hospital is a privately funded hospital in the rural northwest of Zimbabwe. It was established in 1981 by Kathy McCarthy, an American nurse who wanted to provide health care in an area that continues to be severely underserved.

After Kathy passed away in 2021, our client, Larry Gail, believed honoring her legacy would be a great way to recruit monthly supporters for Chidamoyo, as many of the donors had met Kathy and were inspired by her commitment to the hospital. With that in mind, our team developed the fundraising campaign, 'Kathy's 100,' which encouraged 100 people to donate $100 a month for a year.

While devising the campaign, ZUM worked with the 'Friends of Chidamoyo' team to do a complete rebrand. The project included a logo redesign, a new visual ID, marketing materials, and a website to showcase their amazing work.
